What you should know about Prospect Public Library

Local Government in Prospect, Government in Prospect, Public Library in Prospect

Do you know someone who makes your community a better place? What is our responsibility towards the past? Throughout the year the City transforms into a hub of art, cultural activities and events, some of which are provided by Council and some by local service, sporting or community groups. Measure public perceptions of issues specific to the Council at the time of the survey. As a Community Panel member you will be invited to respond to considerable online surveys over the course of a year. City of Prospect offers a different range of recreational facilities for people of all ages and interests to access and enjoy. Playgrounds are provided in many reserves throughout the City of Prospect. Located within the Thomas Street center, City of Prospect’s Digital Hub is a friendly, social environment offering residents and business owners free advice and assistance with digital technology. The Digital Hub offers 45 minute training sessions run by experienced volunteers and staff in an informal and supportive environment. Prospect Community Encourage provides services to both City of Prospect and Town of Walkerville. Here you will find access to the long range of information and services that your Council provides. These include important tree planting and streetscaping, community bus service, aged care service, youth programs, community arts program based at the Prospect Gallery and our innovative library service. Prospect Magazine is published four times a year and delivered to the doors of over 9,500 properties and 22,00 people located correct across City of Prospect. City of Prospect's Strategic Plan is an opportunity for Council, with feedback from our community, to shape the direction we need to take over the following three years, and on into the future. We are currently collecting ideas from residents, businesses and visitors of our City in the form of a survey. A service plan has been developed to inform the future facility type and potential fresh sites are currently being explored. Will there be space for all the stylish services and programs in the new facility? Where can I get more information on the project? Council will identify and destroy release of charge European wasps nests reported by members of the public. When they are away from their nest the wasps are not aggressive. Council does not yield a service to residents for the destruction of Paper wasp nests. The wasps range in size from trivial to large, and are dismal and orange, or plain black. Public places include streets, roads, parks, reserves, ovals and any portion of private land to which the public has access, such as shopping center vehicle parks. (b) to oversee the administration and enforcement of the Dog and Cat Management Act 1995 relating to dogs.
